IMDB mentions an alternate version of Heat. It was shown on NBC in 1999. It was edited down to a length of 3 hours, including ad breaks. I’m very curious to find out how it was edited.
Did anyone cap this way back in 1999, or does anyone have it or know of anyone who has it?

The NBC version of Heat was disowned by Micheal Mann so the film was credited to Alan Smithee. He didn't like the idea of NBC cutting it. ( similar thing that happened to Lynch's Dune)
