The subject says most of my problem. I have already demuxed the surround sound audio of a particular DVD, but upon listening through the different channels I was a bit disheartened to hear that it appears most of the key sound effects and dialogue are contained within the same channel--that being the center channel. Is this unusual?

My goal, ultimately, is to ditch the dialogue and keep the sound effect and vice versa in a few different places.

Has anyone else run into this and found a way around it? If there is no work-around I'm left with the difficult task of re-creating some foley elements in isolation.

Thanks in advance!
