I just wish the cartoons had been longer. Watching a 3 minute clip on cartoon network was pretty exciting at the time. I remember flipping to it between programs on the main tv at my mom's house. After it ended and I said they could change it, they both (my mom and sister) said "That's it?!". I was like, yep, later!

It's going to be interesting to see how it turns out, Wierd that they've gone with a style somewhere between cartoon and realistic. Oddly Mace is the only one who actually looks like he should - whereas in the 2d toons he looked pretty different.
I'm hoping that's not what the sabers will look like 'in series' - Horrible! If so we might as well start planning fan edits now. I guess we'll see where this leads. Bring on the BTS updates!!

I know they're just being stylistic or whatever, but it's not right that Anakin's shin is about as long as his head and torso stuck together. This just looks silly.
Still - the cartoon was a hoot. If they can at least manage to be entertaining with this, then the dodgy design won't hurt... as much.

I wouldn't say it's completely different. It looks to me like 3D CG based on Tartakovsky's style. I'd even go so far as to say they used the Gentle Giant maquettes as models for the show.
