It's a good idea SomethingStarWarsRelated but , after playing about with some tests after seeing your post, it would be a nightmare to pull off. If you look at all the shots of Vader inside his cockpit then you will see that thay are all taken from and angle. either from below or to the side and there are none taken from directly in front, which i would need a shot like that to be able to pull something like this off. I guess i could use footage of vader from a different scene, recolour it and try and piece the background from other shots but it would be so hard. Even with the HD version the zoom in would be so much & so fast that it would look terrible. Oh, well. It was still a good suggestion.

Now there is one thing i have to make clear , especially after i saw the small disagreement arise about the red R2 unit. I am totally disregarding anything outside of the movies, mainly the EU, for this edit. Because Luke calls it an R2 unit then that is how it will be staying. As Max_Rebo said this misnaming arose when making the toys. Also I will not be adding any characters from the EU either. But this place is here so that people can convey their questions & suggestions, so please let them do that even if you don't agree with what they have said ( unless they say this edit is s**t then just go for it

Now to answer a couple of your questions OBtwosy:

This has been changed because it causes a slight continuity problem in Luke's garage when they see the holo image of princess Leia. 3PO really has no clue who she is. Even if he was instructed to keep her identity a secret he would have a hard time doing this and would have probably accidentally told his new master about her identity due to loyalties. omitting "for the princess" fixes this easily.

or why change the blue rebellion insignias in the breifing on Yavin 4, or the fact that Greedo didn't blink in the original, or any number of changes

the helmet insignia colours were changed because, although in the novel there is a blue squadron, they don't make it into the final draft so i changed them to red. Any changes are just to fix issues within the movies and not what we know from outside sources. And i added blinking & facial movements to Greedo and an enhancement and not a fix, amongst others. I'm just trying to bring Star Wars into the 21st century.

Don't stop asking questions just because someone doesn't agree with what you have said. I don't think you should have took so much offence to Max_Rebo's reply. Like i have said before, everyone is entitled to their own opinions and they are more than welcome here. Without people contributing in here i doubt i would have done half the things to this edit as i have done so far, and thats why you will all be added to the end credit roll.

Oh and sorry if i seemed to have repeated myself a bit. i am recovering from a hangover to end all hangovers after partying hard because it was my 40th birthday yesterday and i overdid things a bit.
