How about changing the motivation for Mary Jane's break up with Peter. In the movie she does it because Harry makes her but make is so she is upset with him, kisses Harry then breaks up with Peter for real. That to me would up his motivation to be angry and use the black suit. For me that Breakup was the Jump the Shark moment in the film because I was thinking why doesn't she just tell Peter. Anyway just an idea. Plus it kind of ties up the end where all three are there together since the major plot of the film is now all three of their relationships. You got to trim some of the over the top black suit stuff though please!
