I received my discs on Tuesday. Thanx, Leone Nut. Finished watching Ver2 yesterday.
Wow, it's exactly how I always imagined it. All the scenes I've always missed are now there:
Jack talking to the bird, the Alicorn being cut off, the black apple at the dining table, the restoring of the Alicorn etc, etc.
All there, all slotted in perfectly, no distractions. A person that doesn't know this movie as well as we do won't even notice
that shots have been inserted. Some insertions even cought me out, and I know this movie backwards. Well done, Excellent job.

The alternate intro looks great; the way you edited the scene around the credits works like a charm. Excellent editing.
It was so cool seeing all these ideas that have been going around in my head, displayed on the screen.
A pleasant surprise was hearing Tim Curry's voice on those last 2 lines. I had meant to mention that it might work but never did.
I'm so happy you did it anyway.

The faerie dance looks great, that footage from the featurette was inserted well, and I like how you were able to cut out most of the equipment and crew.
Must have been a hell of a job configuring the scene to 2.35:1

Anyway, I love what you've done and I am over the moon. Legend is now as close to what it should have been, as is possible with existing footage.

All Legend fans owe you a debt of gratitude.

Thank you so much.

so... when will this be available? I can also seed this via torrent and Rapidshare.

Nothing about fanediting is easy.

Will this one be torrented? I'd love to see it.

Same Make. Same Model. New Mission.

I now have the discs so the torrent should be up on Demonoid Sunday. Are the COvers on the disc in a DVD rom folder? Or is there a link? I should add them to the torrent.

Peeps. Sorry for the delay in the torrents. Had some small "crisis" over the weekend and I'm stuggling to sort it out. I Promise that these are on the way. I will post here when they are up.

Folks I have a major problem. My brand new Router is not allowing any P2P aplications to work. It's Linksys BEFSR41 and I'm blowed if I know how to get it to work. Every time I put Azureus Or Utorrent on it crashes my Internet connection. Nightmare. Any help or guidence for a solution would be appreciated.

You have to open up some ports on the router.
An example for a torrent program such as Utorrent is

Many thanks for the help. WIth a lot of consultation on 3 forums, I think I have fixed the problem. Cheers guys! Legend should be up soon.

Bad news after a lot of tinkering with settings and stuff work, I have it confirmed that Port Forwarding in my router is a waste of time. The Linksys BEFSR41 will work with forwarding for about 24 hrs then fail, disconnecting at 2 min intervals. This is a problem that has never been resolved by linksys and I have wasted £40. I'll have to get a new router soon. Basically, No torrenting for me until I get a new one. Sorry people

I always wondered why my internet connection would die when I tried downloading torrents and such...

I found if I didn't minimize the program and left it open and kept an eye on it... it would work longer... but I'm not sure if that'll help at all...

look forward to this edit.

Is it not sad that in this time, we are more surprised by acts of love than acts of hate?

You might just need to reduce your upload (and maybe download) speed and max number of connections. It sounds like the router is getting overloaded (typical Linksys behaviour). I've heard that reducing up/down speed and number of connections can make the problem all but disappear.

It's definitely a major problem with Linksys routers...

Check this out

Everything just started going haywire as soon as I set up a static IP and started Port forwarding. Today, without starting up any P2P software it just started dropping my Internet connection. As soon as I turned off Port forwarding and set everything back to auto.. the problems stopped. It's a problem with a lot of Linksys routers. I just wish I done a lot more research before I slapped down £40 ($80) . So I now have to buy another router. Since getting Cable Broadband it's cost me a fair bit of money!

Anyway, thanks for the feedback guys!

I picked up a nice Netgear gateway/router at my local Goodwill store for $10
Might want to check any Goodwill or Salvation Army thrift stores like that.
