Has anyone watched this show?

It's just about to start tonight over here in the UK, and was wondering if it's any good?

I thank you for reading!

This show is completely amazing. I highly recommended it. It is a weekly serial, so you have to make sure you are able to watch every episode in order, because if you miss one you'll be screwed. But I am really enjoying it, even though the week long wait between episodes always feels like an eternity. My favorite characters right now are Hiro and Sylar.

My only problem with this show is Ali Larter. She can't act to save her life and every time she's on screen I want to rip my own ears off. She's nice to look at but that's about it. Otherwise the show is good.

Just watched this weeks episode and...Wow. How does the show just keep getting better every week? - And No Ali this week for you Jedisages out there

I think the new tagline needs to be "Don't fuck with Peter Petrelli" or Emo pete as we call him around these parts [it's the hair]. Now I'll need to watch it again tomorrow to see what I missed the first time, Any isaac predictions etc...

Sixteen episodes deep and no looking back. I think next week is a flashback [ala 'six months ago']- It'll be good, Just hard due to the cliffhanger nature of events this week...

Ok Ok spoiler warning please!!

Anyhow, I watched the first two episodes last night and thought it was a very well made, interesting show. I've sky+ it on a series link so I'll never miss an episode. No one is annoying me just yet, although it does look like it will be a slow journey - am I right? or is it a kind of 'Lost' type show, where it leaves you wanting more??

Looks like a goody!!

Cheers!

Well they do leave you wanting more but they never leave you hanging too long. It's more about showing you something satisfying than creating an air of mystery [ala lost]

I thought I did censor myself as far as spoilage goes.

What he said. Aside from her first shot in the series, she's been pretty much worthless. They have GOT to start doing something purposeful with her character or kill her off. Everybody else is astounding, good guys and bad.

I'm still trying to figure out what Ali Larter's power is

anyone?
Why Anakin really turned to the dark side:
"Anakin, You're father I am" - Yoda
"No. No. That's not true! That's impossible!" - Anakin

I get the impression that the show didn't originally have the Ali Larter character when it was created. Her story seems to have no connection with the rest, and sort of meanders around aimlessly. I have a feeling that the NBC network execs thought they needed a sexy female lead on the show, so the writer's just sort of threw her character together.

That would certainly explain her presence...God knows nothing else does. She is easy on the eyes.

Show is definitely great television right now. Sad to see the season coming to an end. The future stuff was very interesting.

You should set your DVR to record 1 minute before until 1 minute after. The only thing we missed here is the preview for next week.

It's pretty obvious what had to happen.

I caught it on line. It was still a frustrating few hours to wait for it to be posted on the net. I've learned my lesson.

Oh, and I got to say, Hiro was cracking me up. "Oh! Future me!"

What a FVCKING GREAT EPISODE!!!!!!

The creators have said they will wrap up the NY storyline this season. In their words, they want to follow more of the "24" model than the "Lost" model for a serial drama. i.e. Let characters develop over seasons, but have the big plot line get wrapped up and introduce a new one next go-round.

So I'm looking forward to the next few episodes.

This is good to know. I was hoping they didn't go the X-Files/Lost route of perpetually teasing the audience.

Yeah, this week's episode was really great. They seemed originally to be promoting it as a "What If?" episode, which woulda sucked and slowed down the season a lot, but the way they twisted that concept to actually work for the show instead of just throwing in random things like "Hey, look, it's Peter with a giant scar" was really impressive.

One of my favorite lines in TV history is now "No! Future Me! Is good guy!"

I used to be very active on this forum. I’m not really anymore. Sometimes, people still want to get in touch with me about something, and that is great! If that describes you, please email me at [my username]ATgmailDOTcom.

Hi everybody. You’re all awesome. Keep up the good work.

I was worried that it may be a throw-away storyline, having no bearing on the proper story/time-line. Interestingly it seems to tie in with Isaac's vague references of what is to come. As tho what happened in in the episode was part of his "...not before i show them how to kill you" plan. We know by now that if Isaac draws something then in some way or another it will happen.

I think that was definitely the trick. Up until last night, Hiro didn't know what else needed to be done. As far as they knew, they just had to save the cheerleader. Of course, even after that, they still didn't know why the bomb went off. Now he not only knows what needs to be done, but he knows that he's the one that has to do it.

I think this is my new favorite show!

I agree. This show was awesome. It really put last week's show into perspective with Sylar drawing the future vision of Nathan Petrelli as President. We now know that what he was drawing was actually himself, except he was using the chameleon power at that point in time. Neat trick. (One of many, actually. I like how they had a preview showing the shot girlfriend appearing "alive" again, giving the impression that she had powers. Later, we found out it was only chameleon girl. Someone at NBC has a sick sense of humor. LOL!)

Also, my TIVO finished the show, but cut out during the preview for next week. Here's the preview for next week.
