Hey guys, I use LimeWire as well as iTunes and I used to be able to access my LimeWire folder through iTunes but now I can't. When I look at my options on LimeWire it has a "share my files with iTunes" box so I check it, but when I click ok, it automatically unchecks the box...anyone know what's going on?

Well, your first problem is that you're using Limewire.

I use BitLord, and I only download torrents that are in lossless .FLAC, .APE, or .WV format (i would include .WMA lossless, but I dont trust those cause .WMA could also be lossy and they claim it's not). Then I burn them to a CD for a hard-copy, and I rip them to my computer as 320 kb mp3.

NOW - I know you're probably thinking why I'd do that, but this is a shared computer and I don't want to eat up the hard drive, which is why I burn the lossless CD's. I'm getting a MacBook Pro this summer, and then I'll rip everything onto that in ALAC (Apple lossless) for myself.

By the way, anyone know where I can find the Dr. Ebbetts Beatles UK Singles and UK EP collections in lossless? I found the singles in OGG Vorbis, but not lossless ...

Oh, right - yeah, I don't know about your Limewire issue. Sorry.

I used to use BitLord until I found out that it is essentially stolen software (they ripped off BitComet something terrible; in fact, when you set BitLord to be the default program for .torrent files, they even show the BitComet logo as their icon!) Ever wonder why you get such bad share ratios? Because it's basically a leech program. I'd recommend either BitComet or uTorrent.

Also, I see from your userbar that you're a Pink Floyd fan. In that case, I think you should check out www.yeeshkul.com for all your Floydian needs.

I'd just uninstall I-Tunes if I were you.

Then again, that may be because I have a natural aversion to any program that tries to take over your computer's ability to play media.
