For the stereo mix, if I want to recreate the audio on a 5.1 system as closely as it was heard in cinemas how would I do that. If I encode it as AC3 stereo in surround mode, would that be accurate? That way there's audio coming from all speakers. I actually want to encode it as DTS but that way the decoder can't turn it in to surround sound but it will be plain stereo only.
For the mono mix, was there the same audio coming from all the speakers? I mean if I want to recreate the audio on a 5.1 set should I just fill every channel with the mono track? Or should I just use the centre channel? Or maybe just front left, centre and front right?
