Just finished posting "Taxi Driver Criterion Commentary and isolated score" to the newsgroups:

alt.binaries.dvd, alt.binaries.dvd5 - nzb crossposted to alt.binaries.nzb.

One day I found... 10 years had got behind me. Next day was worse.

 

Download  shows from Cable DVR (Updated! Yes, it needs a rewrite, but it's worth slogging through, anyway).

Just got my disc from meedermow, can't wait to watch it this weekend. The next 3 people who respond with "You talkin' to me?" will get a copy mailed out this weekend.

Watched this last night, EXCELLENT work, thank you so much for getting this out there.

And it's a brilliant commentary, one of the best.

Is there a thread yet speciffically geared towards preserving Criterion material? We should be making many more discs like this one. But first we need a LIST of what's out there and not on DVD.

I have access to a LD player and loads of friends with probably all the editions...

Last I saw BigRob was suppose to email meedermow a list of stuff not on DVD and are exclusive to laserdisc, I'm not sure of the status. I for one have no problem buying and capping the audio needed either so I'm just waiting on the next project I can help on.

No, I'm talking about the actual .torrent file itself. The tracker dealie on Myspleen that starts the download of the movie.

caligulathegod - Jaiman is referring to the the torrent. D_J occasionally has issues with the torrent files that myspleen points to.

Under the cover of the DVD on the torrent page is 2 links to an alternative download of the torrent. I've just tested both of them, they're both working and many people have referred to them in the comments section on myspleen. Try either of them and you'll be able to download the DVD.

It took 2 years, but extra copies of the Taxi Driver Criterion set I offered are finally all spoken for. The offer is closed, Jan. 22 2010.
