Not that I don't trust wiki articles, but comparing both versions to see if anything besides language was snipped would be a good idea. No way an ancient HBO recording is going to look better than the early 90's video release. And if Thief and the Cobbler can be reconstructed, patching whatever is missing from Twice Upon a Time ought to be feasible?
And I'd be happy to transfer my Laserdisc to DVD if someone can use it. I'm up to my neck in old S-VHS tapes at the moment though.
