OK, I want to make a preservation effort of a movie. Let's say I own a VHS copy of a movie that was released on DVD in about 2000, and it is out of print and going for about $300 (on amazon), and is probably a bootleg. Would it be legal for me to preserve it, or not?
The film was the 1960 broadcast of Mary Martin as Peter Pan, which was a live version produced for TV. Is this allowed, or not?
I apologize, my questions are probably getting very annoying by now.
