I also agree on the Grim Fandango movie idea. There were rumors about Tim Burton doing one in the style of Nightmarebefore Christmas/Corpse Bride, however those came up a big negative. Had me very disappointed.
There was a longplay "movie" of Full Throttle where someone played through the game and then cut what he captured into a feature length movie. Unfortunately he left out a bunch of major plot points which made the whole thing just plain confusing (at least to me).
