Sci-fi TV shows seem destined to get canceled pre-maturely anymore. It is reasonable enough for them to cancel something because the rating are low, they have to make money. But I wonder why they have had so little success lately. SG-1, X-Files, and the previous Star Treks all had an extremely long run. Firefly was just treated unfairly to begin with. Farscape, which somebody mentioned was had a fairly long run too, didn't it? SG Atlantis is already doomed. Enterprise should have lasted longer, I think it was a mixture of being treated unfairly by UPN and how bad season three was with the whole "9/11" and "war on terror" (Xindi) plot line. That got old fast. BSG, I only recently started watching it and am really enjoying it. I am still only halfway through season one right now, but with how awesome the show is so far I cannot believe it is only getting 4 seasons. I thought it had been getting pretty good rating too. At least it didn't get cut off at only fourteen episodes like Firefly.
