Here's my random thoughts:
-Saddam is a cruel dictator, its good that he is no longer incharge of a country
-the war against Iraq was not just, and ultimately will do more harm then good
-Bush is evil
-Iraq posed no threat to the USA IMHO, and the WOMD was all bull. If he had them, why not use them while being invaded?
-every time I hear about Pt. Jessica Lynch I want to vomit. Its the most shameless manipulation of facts to hollywoodize a war I've ever seen. Shame shame.
-Part of me gets a kick out of what a cocksucker Saddam could be. He has the biggest army in the world coming to Usurp him, with no chance of victory for himself, and his attitude "Bring it on! You stand no chance America!!". Its dumb but it makes me laugh
-'Three kings' is an excellent movie everyone should see
-alot of this comes down to oil once again
-What exactly are they going to charge Saddam with? Can he prove not guilty to being Saddam Hussien?
-A lady I work with at the grocery store today cheered when she found out Saddam was caught. I asked her if she thought there was any chance of him getting a fair trial. Her response "They should just put him in a hole and shoot him." a minute later she admited that she didn't know the USA was even looking for Saddam, had no idea about the invasion of Iraq last April, and was not even aware why Saddam was a "badguy". But she reinforced that it was great that he was caught, and she hoped he died painfully.
-I don't think Saddam and Osama have any connection to each other
-It hink Osama was caught by the USA months ago, and is stuck in a cell somewhere. However just before the election, Bush will announce that they have "found the evil doer at last" which will conviently make Americans love BUsh again, at least long enough for him to be reelected and terrorize the world and squash the rights of hard working AMericans for another 4 years.
-the chances of Iraq becoming a free democracy out of this whole thing are pretty slim IMHO, and if they do they will probably be a puppet nation for the USA.
