Like I've said in many other threads, viewing Serenity really benefits from having seen Firefly, in my opinion. Because it hooked me from the word go, and I was genuinely interested in the characters, the story, and the world, but that might have been because I was already attached to them. Ugh, I'm a sci-fi nut and I'm just not into Serenity. I don't know what it is exactly I'm missing that millions of others online seem to not miss. Maybe you're right.

That villain just reminded me of Morphius and the captain guy seemed like he was trying too hard to be like han solo. I got to stick with my battle star galactica I guess.
