Yeah, the only reason I use the Padme avatar (and in the past the Leia avatar) is because I can't use my Anri Onuki "Half Bird" avatar :/

Just a personal update. I've just purchased a 1-terabyte external hardrive for $369. Now I can unload all my space-hogging home videos, and make more room on my 300Gb, 400Gb, and 2 500Gb hard drives. AVIs are a bitch.

(Now, I just need to upgrade to a 400Mbps firewire card. That's being ordered now. )

Frye's is having a sale. I think they're still available at that price for a little while. There were several cartloads available when I was there. (The website price isn't discounted).

Oh, and I just ordered the Firewire card from Meritline. 40 bucks. Also, the cables are much cheaper there than Fryes. (4 bucks, vs. 24 bucks!)

"I'm very glad you guys are pressing on and sticking with this project."

You know, with school testing coming up, doing my sister's wedding video, and toilet-training my 3-yr-old (He doesn't mind having a soiled diaper), I just have too much of a life to continue wasting it on this project for you guys. It's been fun, but the thrill is gone.

It is after much thought and with heavy hearts that the X0 Project Team has decided to call it quits. After three years of work and nothing to show for it, we've decided to move on. The X0 Project was a great idea in the beginning, and over the last few years we've seen and done a lot of awesome things - things nobody has ever done in a fan edit or preservation project. But while our intentions were great, our work of late hasn't been.

Unfortunately our fire has gone out of the universe, and we're giving up. Thanks to everyone for their support. No thanks to those of you who mocked us from the beginning. I guess you win.

It would have been more of a disappointment to for it to have been announced as finished, then turned out not to be than for it to have been cancelled. After all this watch it turn out to have really been cancelled and the fact that it was announced on April first was an oversight on Zion's part.
