I should have put Gandalf as my fictional greatest thinker. Gandalf is awesome, especially if you have never seen the movies.

All right, so seriously this time,

Alive: Ray Bradbury (my favorite Bradbury quote: "Michael Moore is a screwed asshole..." it makes me laugh everytime.)
Dead: Solomon (come on, even if you believe the Bible to be a complete work of fiction, Solomon's stuff is great "nothing new under the sun" good stuff.)
Fictional: Sherlock Holmes
