Also the interaction between the characters is piss poor. Only the part of the story the writers are currently focusing on has any substance, they might as well not include scenes in which they have no idea what to do with them. All the scenes with the beach people are all really poorly done, it is like the writers have no clue where to go with those characters, but they feel they have to include them anyway so they just scribble down bits of drivel. Nothing is happening there at all, they just sit around all day, some guy finds a mysterious Volts Wagon crashed out in the middle of the jungle (where there is no road or even terrain vialble for such a vehicle), tells every one and they treat him rudely and have no interest whatsoever in checking it out.
