I agree the show is starting to pick up a little, but no where near as good as it was at parts of season two. It is sad, the show had great potential. All my friends who could not stop talking about the show up to and after the finally stoped watching after the first six episodes of season three. But I guess enough people still watch it that ABC has been talking about stretching it out to seven seasons. To me the show has already jumped the shark, now it is only mildly amusing. It is like reading a mystery novel where there is another murder every single chapter, but no luck in the search for the murderer, and you already know nothing about the murderer is going to pop up until the very end of the book in a chapter yet unwritten. So, where is the motivation to read the book? Might as well wait until the last chapter is writen and start reading from there.

Also the interaction between the characters is piss poor. Only the part of the story the writers are currently focusing on has any substance, they might as well not include scenes in which they have no idea what to do with them. All the scenes with the beach people are all really poorly done, it is like the writers have no clue where to go with those characters, but they feel they have to include them anyway so they just scribble down bits of drivel. Nothing is happening there at all, they just sit around all day, some guy finds a mysterious Volts Wagon crashed out in the middle of the jungle (where there is no road or even terrain vialble for such a vehicle), tells every one and they treat him rudely and have no interest whatsoever in checking it out. Uh, yeah...
