i have a workprint of The Crow, i dont think there are more than one. The quality is so abysmally bad that i dont think it could be used for anything. it looks like a vhs that has been hit by a steam roller.
I'm always looking to trade my edits, if you don't want to get them from a torrent. PM or e-mail!

The quality isnt THAT bad, Spence I've certainly seen worse.

Like I said earlier in the thread, though, a task like that would be impossible and useless because so much of the workprint is made up of alternate takes that weren't in the final version of the flick, looser edits and other minor things that aren't big enough to warrant being re-inserted. You're better off just watching the workprint, or at most, cutting the deleted scenes from the DVD back into the flick.

NFO was nice, but does anyone have a source for getting the workprint?

Heck I'd almost consider doing a reconstructed workprint myself it the parts are useful.

I have the Pilot and the next two episodes of Stairway to Heaven and a Crow Student film that is not bad. If anyone wants those - Drop a line and I get discs out....

You know this edit always sounded nearly impossible mostly because of the condition of the Skull Cowboy scenes.

Having seen a lot of the After Effects work being done lately, I'm starting to wonder if a little CG work and some audio processing of the actor's voice would make this edit more realistic than first thought.

Because the Lee death footage was destroyed, how about a reconstruction of the original Eric death?

Indeed, DAYV. It would kinda be good if we bring the whole Deleted Magic-type documentary genre outside of SW and do a doco on The Crow. Just put Skully into After Effects and sadly, recreate the death footage. I better get the hell out of this thread.
