Alright....I've got Comcast and I use Outlook Express as my newsreader. I'm looking at a.b.sw right now and I can see bh012 - A Long Time Ago... The Story Of Star Wars.

BUT! How the hell do I download it(or anything really)? I'm new to this stuff...so what do I do?

#1 - Don't use Outlook Express

#2 - Go here.

Good luck...

That is an excellent guide, thank you.

But if I shouldn't use Outlook Express (why?)....then what should I use? I mean, what is the most popular on this site? Or better yet, which is noob friendly?

Doesn't Comcast still use GigaNews for their feed? They limit you to 1 gig per month, so you may find yourself hitting your limit pretty fast. If you want a cheap news server, check out AstraWeb. They have pretty good retention (at least 30 days) and either a flat fee per month for unlimited or you can pay for a certain amount and use it until it's gone.

Yes, Comcast is powered by GigaNews....but it's free so I think I'll use it till I at least know what I'm doing. But I'll keep AstraWeb in mind.
