I've managed to make it through once, but I don't think I could stomach a second viewing. Then again, I thought A Scanner Darkly was stupid as well, so maybe it's just that Philip K. Dick blows.

The first time I watched Blade Runner I barely managed to make it through the whole thing. After it was over I thought it was one of the worst pieces of crap I had ever seen. Over a year later I ended up seeing it for some reason, and I loved it. I don't know why, but the second had so much more to it.
I really like P. K. Dick's work too, he has some really great stuff. The guy was a total psycho (burnt out on drugs), but he really explorers some interesting themes in his works.
I know there are a good number of Blade Runner fans around here, anybody else feel it is better the second time around?
