As far as the "is this what every one wanted comment" I know plenty of people who definately wished he would leave. He loved to argue, and and you couldn't say a bad thing about the PT without facing him. He could be pretty annoying, and come to think of it, he is the reason I stopped even bothering to checkout the General SW discussion thread. But I would not say that I personally wished him to leave. He really didn't mess with the off-topic and preservation threads much. Before he left he had been spending more time in off-topic, perhaps if he had done to it what he did to SW board, then I might have had a stronger opinion against him.

The thing is, I didn't think he was a bad user, nor a bad person, but something about him seemed a little fishy. And are you sure he actually left?

As I said long ago...the only reason he was here was because he was banned at TF.n. Now that the ban is lifted, he's gone. He was just here to cause trouble. Nothing more.

I guess it is possible he has a new name to toss his old reputation behind. Before he left he just short of admited that he has alway been an ass.
If he was just he because he was banned at TF.n, then lets hope he doesn't get banned again. He is more their kind of poster anyway, I am sure he feels more at hoem there than here.
