Oh god yeah, that gets me thinking, im trying to remember the name of the guy who was trying to do the edit of King Kong who wanted to replace the natives of the 1933 King Kong over Peter Jacksons edition, or even use stand-ins to recreate the parts because they looked so bad in Peter Jacksons edition. I wonder if it ever bared fruit in the end??
