The ROTS DVD came with a whole disc of extras, which is considerably more than don't contain any.
To address your 5, it is not that people complain about new scenes and ironically want more. It is that once these new very modern scene were added the old ones were said to no longer exist. 1997 didn't give us too many new scenes, but rather old scene with CG cartoons drawn over the old frames (which seem to require upgrading every few year if the 04s are anything to go by. RSS wasn't saying he wanted new scenes, he was saying he wanted to see old original scenes that were not finished for the initial release of the films for various reasons. I have to agree with him, scenes like the parts of the Hoth battle that were filmed but not completed would have been great to see.
