Info Wanted: Star Wars Interactive Board Game DVD ... stuck on @99.7% of DL...

Hi people. I came across faneditdotorg the other day which lists the many SW video captures available among other things, and they have a list of possible locations for grabbing these online. I’ve been in the process of getting this particular one but it seems that, despite the claim of 2-4 seeders for this torrent, I and everyone else here is stuck on 99.7% of the entire thing. Does anyone know how I can complete this … it is missing .2-.4% of each .vob, so basically none of them work yet. Thanks.

Are you using Azureus? If so, stop the torrent, to a "force re-check", and then restart them. Sometimes Azureus hangs near the end, especially if the "done" size is bigger than the actual file size.

Sometimes I've even had to remove the torrent (not the actual downloaded files) and then restart the torrent. It should see the files, and download the rest.

I don't think it's my end that is the problem, it's that everybody else online is also on 99.7% and there is not one full seeder in the group (so far as I can ascertain). I'm using uTorrent because I find it's easier to do certain things (or I just haven't bothered finding out the equivalent settings in Azureus).

I did a remove and re-entry of the torrent into uTorrent and it came back the same as it was before. Azureus also acts similarly with the two or so people currently supplying this at the same 99.7%. I just think that somebody hasn't bothered to stay online for enough of us to grab the full 100%. Any other help or advice as to how I can obtain this DVD? Maybe there is another source available. Thanks.

The torrent is (officially?) called "Star Wars - The Interactive Board Game DVD". Just look it up on something like isohunt and it should be apparent on the first page.

It seems that the absolutely last file (VTS_01_2.vob at 854mb) is missing a couple of sections (along with the tail end of VTS_01_1.vob). If you can at least seed this last .vob then it should complete the seed properly ... I will then leave it online for the 5-6 other leechers who are in the same position as I am currently.

And as far as asking for a DVD in the mail ... if I was to do that, then I would start asking for a heap of others that I cannot get anywhere other than MySpleen (of which there are numerous ones out there which are only available on UseNet, which I cannot access atm).

A quick look on my torry proggy apparently reveals that the 4-5 other lost souls out there (for this DVD Board Game) have already taken full advantage of your seed and they are all now at 100%. Mine says that even at the slowest d.l speed (about 1kb/s or less) I should have the whole thing in about an hour or so.

Thanks again for everything. If there's anything I can do for you, let me know. I have a heap of stuff from MyS along with virtually all of the MST3K stuff I can find around the world (however I cannot get anybody to respond to my repeated requests for the MST3K60m segments, unless you have them as well?).

I might have the MST3K60m segments with me. Perhaps not all of them, but a good amount. I'll look.

Do you have the rough cut of #505, the Magic Voyage of Sinbad? I am missing that one.

EDIT: I looked, I do have all of them here. It'd be kind of a pain in the ass to individually reseed that many torrents, but maybe I could send you a disc?

As odd as it seems, I'm not really keen on asking for discs in the mail (I keep wondering about the costs involved to the sender). The version I had uploaded was different from daveytod's version. DaveTheHutt was kind enough to upload whole daveytod disc for me. Here are the links:

I'm pretty sure it's PAL (I only tested it briefly last night on my BD player and it said it was the incorrect format). Hopefully we can get this thing circulating again. Not sure if it's better than the version I uploaded or not.
