I had no idea what to expect when I bought Prime 2. I just knew that I loved Prime and even if it was a rehash of the same game I would love it. I think it's great so far, and the addition of the Light/Dark parallel worlds is great. It's a lot harder too. I find myself dying way more often than the first one. I just spent a good couple of hours trying to beat the slug/moth thing and probably an hour on the boss before that.

My Projects:
[Holiday Special Hybrid DVD v2]
[X0 Project]
[Backstroke of the West DVD]
[ROTS Theatrical DVD]

Yeah Prime 2 was really great, but MUCH harder than the first. I got stuck about 3/4's of the way through the game and kind of gave up on it. That was about two years ago. I think I need to go back and finish it... one of these days.

God damn the music in the new Sonic Game for the Wii is like jabbing a Rusty Knife in your ear. But the game is awesome.

Resident Evil 4 - Uhhhh, quite possibly the closest to gaming perfection I've ever seen. Truly terrifying experience combined with great graphics and intuitive game play. No idea how far along I am (I'm fighting my way up a hill near a cemetary to get into a church), but I hope there's LOTS more. I'm wondering if CapCom is preparing a game for the Wii?

Also, have you guys noticed an upswing in games being advertised for the PS2? I wonder if they're having such a shortfall from the PS3 that they're trying to save themselves...

There is a Wii RE planned, but there is almost literally nothing known about it. link

Yesterday an excited EB Employee told me that there is a street date for Phantom Hourglass now - December 20th.

I have a request. Does anyone know where I can get hold of the Metroid Prime/Fusion soundtrack? It's really hard to track down, so if anyone could give me a lead, I'd appreciate it. This is the one I'm after:

*wince* Such a long wait. This game had better be every bit as good as the Oracles.

I fired up WarioWare Smooth Moves over the weekend. I must say I've never seen a more frustrating and pointless set of mini-games in my life...returning for something else today. Not sure what as of yet. Might go for a group of closeout GC games. Saw Metroid Prime (never played any of the Metroid series) for $5.95 the other day, new.

You've got quite a lot of game left to play. My only issue was that later on, when there are billions of enemies to fight, and you have to protect the girl, the sluggish and awkward controls make it harder than it should be.

Sluggish and Awkward? If you think RE4 is sluggish and awkward, you should play the older games.

^ True!

Remember how bad the controls for RE1 were on the PS1? Thankfully the controls for the Cube remake were marginally better...

I was shocked by the quality of the graphics of RE4...especially the water and fish! Nice to see the "little console that could" is capable of producing top notch stuff like that...with almost no load time.

I'm still getting plenty of use from my GC. We've got the Wii hooked up on our main set in the living room, so at night when my old lady's watching Law and Order I go continue questing up stairs. It's a perfect little spare console!

I'd do that if I had a spare television to hook my GC up to. The one that used to be in my room was moved to the computer room so we could play X-Box Live on the 360. I've thought about taking my GC up to my grandmother's or father's house, but then I'd have to remember to carry the memory cards and games back and forth if I ever wanted to play a GC game on my Wii.

I gotta agree about RE4, it's easily one of the best games of all time. Also, I usually HATE escort missions in any game, but in this game it was perfectly done. Some of the escort parts were so intense I had a hard time calming down. My heart was thumping.

Haven't done an escort mission in RE4 yet. Right now I'm trying to cross a huge lake with...

*SPOILER**

...that hubungo killer fish in it that keeps knocking you out of the boat. I almost killed it last night, but I just got too tired and had to put it away.

Has anybody here played Super Ghouls and Ghosts? It was released on the Virtual Console today and I'm considering getting it.

Did you get it yet?

I played it on the SNES, but it was really, really difficult - almost punishing to a fault.

I am looking foward to the Castlvania series soon, I hope - and I can't wait for Symphony of the Night on XBLA.

TheCassidy is absolutely right. Probably one of the most difficult (if not THE most difficult) games I've ever played. It's kind of unfortunate considering the art direction and music were so good. Also, I'm guessing any cheat codes that made the game easier are probably disabled.

It is one of those games that looks like it would be cool, so you pick it up and play it, you die countless times and make no progress then realize that it isn't worth wasting your time on. Perhaps I never gave it a chance, but that game really doesn't give a good first impression.

I would save my credits Chaltab. Maybe they will release StarFox soon (if they haven't already) that game is really hard but totally worth it.

I already have Starfox on the SNES, though.

I'm having trouble with my Wi-Fi connection. Think it's too far away. Got to get a spare tv for my office and move it closer to the router. Tried downloading Mario Kart 64 numerous times today with no luck. GRRRRRRR

Does anyone remember that damn lake creature in RE4? Having a heap of trouble with it and am wondering if anyone can offer some tips.
