Exactly. I never had an issue with that droid filling the screen because I never noticed it as a problem. After having seen the movie a hundred times that droid had never stood out to me. It just seemed natural to the film and I was always thinking about Luke, Ben, and the droids. Now the zoom of digital creature flesh makes me think I'm suddenly watching a video game or who knows what. That's not merely a chaotic, foreground obstruction, with our mind's still dwelling on our heroes, it's the actual focus of that movie in that moment.
