I agree. I think that its the whole MySpace issue that has caused this. That reaches a far wider audience than this site does and therefore may have made it look like a commercial release, or at least one that may be at one day released for sale.

It is a worrying time for all of us doing these edits but i had a legal friend of mine look over this letter and she said that it was just a formal notice to remove the copywrited images & footage from the site or to remove the site completely. A site like MySpace is classed as a website that can be used for commercial & promotional purposes and can be seen to do so by anyone visiting it.

Its a pretty safe bet that Lucas is fully aware about this site and i would have thought that if it was a clamp down on fan edits then OT.com would have been slapped with the same notice as the "REBORN" MySpace site was by now.
