Would it possible to get footage of this Alien War thing? You know to show us overseas people what it's like? Perhaps if some of you befriend the people running the thing?

I reckon (if you're in contact with one of the key players - Stormtrooper) we should be able to arrange a little UK group outing closer to the time when venues etc are confirmed. It was such a great event !

Cheers,

sounds good

btw if you guys want to put any questions to him he will answer them next month when his work load is a little lighter.

Wonderful news regarding Alien War! Can't wait to see it all over again... Have you guys heard about new ALIENS-Inspired Animated Project "alien war games"? I'd prefer live action series, but better something then nothing. More at:

Quick AA3 progress report!

I finally have all of the elements in place (thanks, meedermow!) so we should have the disc authored and QC-d for the end of the month as planned.
Incidentally, I've shuffled some items around (holding one item back for AA4) so we're now looking at a jam-packed single layer disc, rather than dual. Good news, since that should ease the distribution considerably...

So... Alien War, huh? Count me in (in London, anyway!) I visited the Trocadero site twice back in the day, it was utterly brilliant. Still waiting to hear from anyone else who went to the 1993 Alien Convention, though

totally off the wall, but I just listened to the ALIENS commentary (from my beautiful Quadrilogy Alien Head set) for the first time. It is the BEST commentary I've heard. Wonderful stuff. Give it a spin if you haven't already.

Ok, first lot on their way out now.

8t88 - actually, it isn't quite as clear-cut as that - it's more of a hybrid. We've done our best with the available materials - perhaps one day someone will come along with a first gen laserdisc transfer and blow us all away, but this release is at least watchable and complete. Anyway, you certainly deserve a credit for your contribution and research!

Fezza - PM me your address and I'll see what I can do
