too bad the hardcover edition has exclusive material as it goes for 75.00 dollars, what a ripoff. sure not as expensive as star wars chronicles but is it worth that expense.

the only really interesting thing is i read on starwars.com that they used the material from what was supposed to be the original making of book in 77 that was never published, because the Charles Lippincott had literally 50 interviews and thousands of pages of documents.

according to the official site "four boxes of Lippincott's interview transcripts literally thousands of pages of material" was available

i'd be much more interested in the raw material from the archives than the book being produced because you know it is gonna be special edition's crap and revisionism rather than a true behind the scenes of 1977.

I like Charlie Lippincott too bad they could'nt actually help him finish his original book with a bit of editorial assistance, i spent years trying to track this book down because there was an isbn for it on amazon.com, i found out later it was never published.

You know there gonna edit the crap out of it to, so george does'nt contradict his current self. the interiview he gave back then probalbly said there were twelve films. plus he needs to keep his original vision crap to be protected, so they will erase any mention of what the true vision for star wars was, and it certainly was not darth vaders story 1-6 crap.
