I'm probably too late to this site to be posting websites like this but I would like to know what you think of Chefelf's website. I get a kick out of reading his reasons to hate AOTC and ROTS stuff. Also his SE ratings stuff is pretty amusing.

I don't know who this Chefelf guy is but apparently he is in the wikipedia so I'll look him up.

I also like this guys opinions on ROTJ.

With yet more of Lucas's new grab-you-by-the-shoulders-and-shake-you-violently film philosophy, we are treated to an extended scene of Oola in the rancor's pit.

Something about that confuses me a little.

Lando says, "We've got to be able to get some reading on that shield, up or down," and then realizes that the reason they can't get a reading either way is that they're being jammed.

Yet he seems to know the moment the shield goes down.

Did the jamming stop? Did the rebels find a way around it? What happened?

 

Time is running out for the Rebels. Antilles upcourt to Skywalker. He’s being paced by Darth Va— the bone-jarring pick by Solo! He came out of nowhere! Skywalker’s open from way outside, he launches at the buzzer... Good! It’s good! The Rebels win on a sensational buzzer beater by Luke Skywalker! Let’s take another look at that last shot. He just does get it off in time. Wow, what a shot. That’s why they call him Luke Legend.

 

That may be the most exciting battle I have ever been privileged to broadcast. Certainly the most dramatic finish. We’ll get you an update on the Artoo Detoo injury situation in just a moment. Right now let’s go courtside where SuperShadow is waiting with Chewbacca.

This is the same guy who dissed the Asian Woman in ROTJ and the Water Opera in ROTS. I tried making him apologize for it but he thought I was joking. I reported him to Lucasfilm so I can get my revenge...

ChefElf is damn-fine reading and hilarious.

You should check out Darth Sheba's "Prequel Commentaries" page, too, for some fine criticism.

The jamming ships was one of their first targets. It's described in the novel. SWTC Entry

Alternately, the jamming may have been discontinued after the Imperial fleet deployed into its assault formation. Jamming their sensors wasn't really useful then, since surprise had been achieved.

There's a reason he thought you were joking: because it's an absolutely ridiculous thing to try to make someone apologize for.

Are we talking about this comment here, about the makeup and costume jobs on three characters, one of whom happens to be portrayed by an Asian actress?
Max Rebo's backup singers build a strong case for the use of more CGI. While, as a rule, I hate CGI characters, these characters represent possibly the worst live action makeup and costume jobs in film history. The three of them look like they're about to come in tenth place in a Star Wars costume contest.

Great, now I have to hae Jedi too? I was already convinced to hate the PT, but now I have to accept a cliffhanger to be a true star wars fan? Chefelf is a fan I'd like to call a 2/3 bad fan, while Im a 1/2 fan. Believe me, I can handle more "bad" movies than anyone knows.

Ah I have been reading ChefElf's Star Wars "reviews" for a long time... it's really good.

And also... I agree 54% with the "Why ROTJ Sucks" article.
