Ulead MediaStudio Pro v8.0 serious problem - FILE READING ERROR 20379:1:107

I can't open my project files anymore. I get the messgae "File reading error 20379:1:107". This was a critical project file for my T3 T-HOPE NTSC version, and now I can't open it again. Does someone know what the problem is and if there's some fix/patch? I can't find any solution on the internet about it.

I have alraedy tried to re-insert project files etc. but it doesn't work. I have installed all pathes that I am aware, like the service pack.
Ulead has made 30 temp saves of the project. The last 15 are corrupt, and these are just the saves that contain the important changes.

What files did you put in after the last good save?

Try moving all of them to another folder. Then see if the program will prompt you to load each one. Maybe you can isolate a file it doesn't like, like a funky mp3...

One day I found... 10 years had got behind me. Next day was worse.

Changes from the last working project file:
- changed the postions of some audio files
- placed the complete video in a good timeline
- change an audiosong (MP3 I think) with another audiosong (another MP3).

Any ideas?

Mp3's can be encoded various ways. Maybe it can't handle that swapped one.

I'd try moving that swapped mp3 to another folder, first, and see if the save will load without it. If it loads to that point, cancel looking for the mp3, and see if it finishes loading.

If it loads without the mp3, then make the mp3 a wav, and put it back into the project.

If it fails, try it without other files, one at a time.

There's always the possibility that the save files are boned, regardless, but it's worth trying.
