Has anyone used this program to extract media files from larger files?

I just ran my of 'Behind the Magic' disc (which I haven't been able to use for year as I am now a mac user) through it and it managed to extract about 2000 photos before it got stuck. Has anybody had any luck with any other programs?

Cheers

How do the files look? I did a bunch of screen grabs years ago, bu I've always wondered if they could look better.

The unpack of the BTM discs posted on usenet has all of the images extracted already and the text and the videos etc. (although the videos need to be converted, they are being posted on usent now too). The images and videos are of better quality than any previous captures I've seen done.

I haven't seen filejuicer, it sounds like a useful tool.

Some of the photos I've extracted (now about 2000) are of decent quality but are relatively low-res when compared to today's standards. Probably better than your screen grabs though.

Laserman - I would be interested to see all the JPEGS you've extracted as I am sure there are many more than the 2000.

It is up on a.b.starwars, so I imagine people will download it from there and then megaupload or rapidshare or yousendit or whatever it is the young folks do these days.

Yes everything is low rez but a lot higher quality than the convoluted capture methods employed previously.
