IP Flushing/Renewing Error ("Could not flush the DNS resolver cache")

I put together a little .cmd dealy to flush, release and renew my IP address. It seems to do everything correctly, and I know that my ISP will give me a new IP address, but during the flushing portion, I get the following error message:

"Could not flush the DNS resolver cache: function failed during execution"

Has anyone had this issue? If so, how can I correct it for easier IP resets?

Shut down your computer and unplug your modem. Walk away for an hour. Come back and reboot everything.

You know, honestly, I always Google something, or visit videohelp.com, before I ask something here. Yesterday when I googled this, I got one hit in a Thai tech-forum, and I had no way of translating it. I must have had a typo in my search string. I apologize for wasting a post on this - I just (mistakenly) thought that there wasn't anything much out there on this.

Thanks for your help once again, Laserman!

Strangely enough, that also seemed to fix everything for me.
