The floodgates would be open were Nintendo to offer an online service similar to Xbox Live. Maybe online multiplayer without voice chat, I don't know...

I've been turned off of XBL due to the smacktalk, racism, sexism and general poor behaviour of the majority of the "gamers" on the service. Microsoft's answer is to use the feedback feature and mute voices, but one shouldn't have to do that to have a fun online experience.

With Nitendo's decidely more PG oriented image, I can't imagine them everoffering a service with the robust features of XBL...S'okay, I'm content to just download old...I mean classic games.

Speaking of which, anyone pick up Donkey Kong Country?
