After reading CC and adywans posts and after actually watching the ESB scene again…I’d have to agree with them. It *does* make since to have the ESB scene in ANH…or at least the new DVD dialogue. Vader does need to find out in ANH and using the new dialogue is gonna be the best and easiest way to do it.
Using only the new dialogue, let me just share a quick idea…
Vader: "What is thy bidding, my master?"
Palpatine: "I have no doubt…THAT…the young rebel who destroyed the Death Star…is the offspring of Anakin Skywalker."
Vader: "How is that possible?"
Palpatine: "Search your feelings, Lord Vader. You know it to be true.”

I know that that first Palpatine sentence is a little bit longer this way. But if you leave it as it is…
Vader: "What is thy bidding, my master?"

…It just sounds incomplete.
Finding Palpatine saying the word “that” might be difficult. I watched a little of episode 3 and all I could find was him saying: “than” and “last”. But you might be able to piece those together.
Adywan, the trailer is freaking awesome! I don’t know how many times I’ve watched it now! This is how I’ve imagined the film looking for so long! Thank you for being the one to do it!
Another question about the edit: Are you changing anything in the trash compactor scene?
It has always bothered me that the walls shake and change places and paces, you know what I mean? They seem different in almost every shot.
For me personally, I wouldn’t mind seeing a few shots from that scene trimmed a bit.
Kind of like what you’re doing with the duel. Just trim some of the ugly pieces…
P.S. I read CC's and your post and now I’m not sure about the Vader scene anymore!
