Adywan, I must ask... on the colour-corrected shots, have you desaturated those areas that should be white? It stood out a little for me on the shot with the droids and the rebels running past them, and the other 3P0-like droid - there seems to be something wrong about them having no colour at all.

No, i haven't desaturated anything apart from the blue of their uniforms. All i have done is remove the blue cast and brightened it up a little. That is one of the shots that it became apparent why the blue casting may have been introduced. Removing it showed up a lot of colour issues, or lack of them in some areas. The background colour would change from shot to shot on the Tantive IV so i had to so i had to balance that out. i intend to revisit that sequence once i am closer to finishing the edit and try to replace lost colours, by use of mattes with different levels of colour correction. that way i can correct these issues without having to worry about the background changing colour from shot to shot. i desaturated their uniform blue slightly because that is another issue with this transfer. they change from blue to grey quite often but instead of increasing the blue i decided to go for a more blue/grey appearance. Also their pants seem to change colour too. some shots they are grey, some tan and some almost purple and in that particular shot you mentioned their pants are blue. its really going to be impossible to restore this to what the colours would have originally looked like without a new transfer so I'm just doing it to what i think looks better overall
