I'm sure you could separate them out to "movie" "bonus disc" and do two single layers, but if you're anal about watching compressed movies, you might wanna stick to the DL. Upping it as DL (or mailing it out) at least gives you the choice as to whether you wanna shrink it back down or get your dual layer burn on.
