I'd also love to see a fan edit of the four current Highlander films into one trilogy. I know there are many who are solely fans of Connor McCloud and his films, but I'd like an edit that fits into the continuity of the TV series and new comic books (which I have not read, but know include Duncan).
Highlander I would be a simple edit, just remove all references to "The Gathering" and "The Prize". The comics have explained Connor's unique Quickening to be a Dark one.
Highlander II and III could be combined into one movie. Use elements of Highlander II to create a James Bond esque opening. Maybe find a way to end with Connor coming out of an explosion looking young. Then Highlander III could be edited down to remove elements that are blatant rip offs of the original.
Highlander IV could be reedited to add elements from the rough cut, remove the repeated section of the sword fight, and replace the footage with the blurred JVC sign to what it was originally. The blurring effect, in most instances, is more distracting then the sign.
