Seal clubbing is a very real thing, there is no reason to assume it is fake. Come on, we see dead cats on the road everyday. This shouldn't be that offensive, I don't find it funny either though. However after reading your post it is funny to think about some idiot accidently hitting a cat, then chuckling to himself, pulling over and making a sign, then driving away.
