I have been looking for these movies for awhile and not finding anything about them coming to dvd. Then I noticed that they are coming on T.V. soon but I dont have the channels or the know how to convert them. So I was wondering if anyone here would consider it. TerrorVision is playing on Showtime and Meet the Applegates is playing on The Movie Channel. Thanks for any help.

I agree, both of these are crying out for a preservation.

Terrorvision would be a great addition, seeing as it looks unlikely to hit DVD anytime soon. (It's another one that MGM own, and have seemingly no interest in releasing.) http://www.dvdmaniacs.net/forums/showthread.php?t=26549&page=1, Showtime air it in widescreen!

To those of who haven't heard of Terrorvision, it's a brilliantly tacky little 80's B-movie from Empire Pictures. The very mention of Empire should tell you all you need to know, but here's a scan of the UK video sleeve just in case:

And I haven't seen Meet The Applegates in years, but remember it being a lot of fun (I remember being grossed out by the birthing scene very vividly!). Another modern B-movie pick.

So yes, anyone with a capture card please consider these!

OKay, now I'm reading about Showtime airing Terrorvision in widescreen HD... come on someone, please make an HD2DVD of this or something. It's got a big cult following so would definitely be much appreciated!

On a similar topic, another Empire Pictures "classic" is being shown on Showtime and is gagging for an HD preservation if possible...

ELIMINATORS!!! A half-android half-tank (I kid you not), a hot female scientist, a ninja and Han Solo-esque river rat character fight up against an evil time-travelling doctor who wants to go back in time and overthrow Julius Caesar. It's a lot of fun, way more than it has any right to be. Airdates in the link below:
