Okay, well just let me know if you need it Sluggo. With the ED team's permission (via you?) I'd like to make this cover available anyway when it's done so that people who want to save space can use this single-width cover. However, if they don't want me to, or if they plan on making something similar, then I'll just keep it for personal use.

Would still really love to have a copy of the Editdroid logo.

I don't think that would be a problem. I'll send you the logo once I have the official art.

Erik and MoveAlong, could you guys post the art on the first disc as a DVD-ROM folder. The discs are named STAR_WARS_FEATURES_1, STAR_WARS_FEATURES_2, etc. If the ones I sent out are labeled NEW or anything else, I'd appreciate the discs be distributed with their correct names. Just out of my GREAT respect for the EditDroid team. I was a bit sad to see these leaked, but what's done is done. Anyway, the PiF chain and the torrent should be going in the next day or so. I appreciate all your patience for these discs to let us release them correctly.

Couldn't agree more. It was frustrating as an "end-user" with the original EditDroid set. Did I have the real thing? What was the real DVD-ROM content? WAS there DVD-ROM content?!

Sluggo, I got the replacement disc 1 today and it works fine. I noticed that there is a JACKET_P folder on it. The other 3 discs I received do not have the JACKET_P folders and are as you stated, named "NEW". Can you get the JACKET_P folders to me and Erik? They shouldn't be too big. Erik and I should also probably get together and make sure our file names and structures are the same...

You can go about your business. Move along, move along.

Actually, Kaine, I think the set that's being discussed is the set of supplementary discs to accompany the original EditDroid trilogy set, which has been making the rounds for quite a long time now.

Which unfortunately has no seeders left on myspleen too.

Once this supplemental disc makes the rounds I'll have to check this out, it sounds great!

Grumble Grumble

I already made 5 copies of disc 1.

I'll hold off on anything further until we all get on the same page.

You know of the rebellion against the Empire?

Sluggo, if you could clarify with the ED team what fonts they used on the back that would put my mind at ease too. Don't worry about it if it's too much hassle for you, just the white font on the back that describes each feature looks like Times New Roman but there are some slight differences.

Why are you sad they're leaked?
Fez: I am so excited about Star Whores.
Hyde: Fezzy, man, it's Star Wars.

It was frustrating then and still is today.
Eventually the EditDroid team posted official artwork and DVD-ROM contents to usenet. That was very kind of them.
But when it came to VIDEO_TS contents, some of the files posted to usenet didn't match their torrented counterparts.
They had different SFV checksums. Still to this day we don't know which, if either, are correct.

However, in practice you must take into account the “fuckwit factor”. Just talk to Darth Mallwalker…

Just that the EditDroid team wanted to keep their releases under wraps except to the small group of friends to whom they distributed the discs. So I was a bit sad that they got out only because I respect the guys wishes. I'm certianly excited you guys get to see their awesome work.

Erik, I checked out the disc 2 file on my HD and it seems to work fine. I'm not sure where the problem is, but I'll be sending you a new copy today.

Sluggo, I also just noticed that my disc 4 does not have the DVD-ROM folder that would include the virtual record player with the "Story Of" albums.

My copy of disc 4 is also missing the Story of Albums. Sorry I didn't notice sooner.

Marvolo, if you'd like a copy of the set, PM me or e-mail me at ganwuiming AT gmail DOT com with your address, and you can be #1 on my PIF list. Best if you live in the USA (to save postal costs), but since no-one else has asked me yet, it doesn't matter too much.

wmgan, thank you so much for the kind offer, but I am not to keen on having things shipped to my house. Its not that I don't trust you, I just prefer not to do that. Once again thanks for the offer.

New batch going out tomorrow. Sorry about the confusion earlier, byt my computer was having a but of a nervous breakdown, but I've uninstalled some things so things are running smoothly. Look for imaged discs. And it is payday, so I can afford to ship out all the stuffs I need to (and lately it has been adding up, but no worries!).

OK, the good news and the bad news.

Good news 3 out of 4 discs are perfect copies.
The bad is my my original copy of disc 2 is corrupt. I never actually watched it all the way through as I already had two other copies of Classic Creatures and Return of the Jedi. But I'm working with the EditDroid guys about replacing the disc. I don't anticipate a problem.

And I've got the artwork for the case and discs emailed to MoveAlong and Erik. And 3 of the 4 discs will be in the mail today. I don't see why we can't start torrenting discs 1, 3 and 4. I'll let you guys know what is happening with that 2nd disc as soon as I know

Got the artwork, Sluggo. I just might have to go get a Lightscribe burner for these! The monochromatic disc art will print fine on an inkjet, but the Lightscribe discs definitely look cooler. Thanks, and I'm looking forward to the new mailing...

Sluggo,

Thanks for the artwork (got it) and the new discs you're sending.

Will the new discs already have the jacket folder, or will I have to create that?

You know of the rebellion against the Empire?

You guys will likely have to add the disc art and cover to the jacket or a dvd-rom folder, unless I do it on the second disc myself.
