Do you use dvddecrypter to demultiplex the vobs (stream processing)?

I tried demultiplexing directly from dvd with dvddecrypter but I sometimes got header errors or something with the ac3 files (I can't remeber exactly, it was a long time ago). So now I always rip the vobs to my hdd and demultiplex them using vobedit. Works like a charm, never had an error.

For some reason, DVD Decryptor demultiplexes the video from the VOB as an m2v, but leaves the audio portion in the VOB. I know - it didn't make sense from me either.

VOBEdit sounds like a great program. You've helped me out once again, Arnie. Thanks for the quick response!

It's amazing how great some of this freeware is. You get a program that isn't even a MB in size, and it can manipulate huge files for great results.
