Is anyone going to attend Celebration Europe? I fancied going down there with a rucksack full of copies of 'BE' and 'RTJ' and handing them out.

I am not one of those kinds of people that do the 'convention thing'. Bu I thought I would make an exception here.

Let me know if you are going and I will make sure I say hi.

I may be going.
Our new baby is due on the 7th July, so to give the missus a break for the day I may take our son, who's only going to be 2 & a half by then, to see the wonders of Star Wars!

I am going, absolutely. This is an event not to be missed.
FanForce will have its annual European meet there that week also, and there will be a large Fan Party on one of the nights. The opportunity for meeting other fans from all over the world is at least as important for me as the CE event itself. I have also been wanting to visit London again anyway.

I will be in costume at least half the time, some times standing in the Rebel Legion booth.

I will remember to wear my "Darth Lars" or "Marcia Lucas Fan Club" T-shirts when not in costume.

I just need to find someone to go with. Tho £50 is alot for some of my not so big SW fans to pay to stand there and call me sad,

Im not going to the event, but if OT.com members are having a little gathering, I might come down and say hello, as I only live a 20min ride away from where the event is being held.

Despite the convention scene not really being my thing, I have just booked my tickets. I think I will go on the saturday. So if you are going, let me know and we can say hi.

I wanted to go but it doesn't look like I'll be able to afford it.

Plus I'm going to school this summer so it would be hard to get away for another week.

I was thinking of going but am going on me hols a few days after the event so money would be a bit tight. Saying that tho on the website it mentions group bookings so maybe have an ot.com gathering could make it cheaper

In any case a couple of fan groups/sites are planning to have extensive daily coverage with text, photos and videos.
Maybe filming will not be permitted of the presentations and Q&A sessions. Last time, at C3, Lucasfilm filmed the most important ones and posted these videos on starwars.com some time later. I don't remember if they were HS only, .. but HS stuff tend to get out anyway.
