Just a quick update I have finished editing Version 1. There are some interlacing problems, which are present on the Director's cut, and Womble appears to show them even more while editing. I was able to replace most of the affected footage with stuff from the other cuts.
Will do a test burn and watch on my TV at some point.

Have already started on an edit of the alternative 4 goblins intro, kind of messes up the credits a bit, but not too bad. Have replaced shots of the goblins riding with shots shown later in the film of all four goblins. Not a lot of footage from the main titles is in the alternative intro.
So far it goes:
1) Main titles from DC up until we see Blix's feet.
2) Alternate Intro up until Blix's feet, cutting out any footage already in the main titles
3) Shot of Blix's feet panning up to his face from DC.
4) Alternate Into up until goblins ride off, with footage replaced from the DC of Blix reacting to the light ahead (some credits here)
5) Shot of goblin's riding replaced with alternate shots from the DC, with extra shots (with credits) of the Great Tree from the DC
6) Rest of Alternate Intro
7) When integrated with the rest of the film will fade to the sun and Lili after Darkness' line "innocence"

Oh yeah I'm feeling much better now, still waiting on my insurance to get sorted though...
