For what it's worth. I've been testing out Vista Ultimate on my P4 machine and it's working fine so far. I had some discrepancies with explorer not wanting to preview video files with different codecs, but other than that nothing to complain about. I think the interface with the transparent windows is pretty cool.

That being said, my next computer will be a Mac Pro. Being in film school and majoring in post production, I need the ability to run software like Final Cut Studio at home. Of course, my decision was much easier knowing that you can now boot into Windows on a Mac as well. I won't have to give up PC software like AviSynth, VirtualDubMod, and the wealth of other open-source multimedia software I've come to know and love over the last few years.

I have to agree with you Jay, those Mac towers are a thing of absolute beauty - inside and out.
