I've tried both of those, but I end up with a bunch of artifacting and inexplicable gray screens every few seconds. I'll try setting it up like you said, though. Thanks! I'll keep my fingers crossed!

EDIT: I'm also going to need to crop the picture in places. The Alternate Cantina Sequence is a top-bottom split-screen with the finished version on the BTM CD, so I need to cut out the lower half of the picture*. I'll also need to cut off the letterboxed black space from the few shots of the '06 DVD that I'll be inserting into ANH. While I haven't tinkered with it for very long (having such a time getting the film together and all), I'm not sure if WMM can do that.

*Come to think of it, which freeware screencapture utility should I use? Since ANH's deleted scenes can't be copied off of the disc, I'll have to record it on my computer screen.
