I've very mixed feelings about PETA. First, I'm a meat eater and I don't intend to change than (although I'm eating a LOT less lately as to a change on my diet for health reasons), and I've witnessed killing chickens and cows, and the full killing of a pig and meat extraction about 2 meters away from it - and I've eatern the same pig later that same day, so it's not like animal killing is a distant reality for me. But at the same time, I totally respect other people's decision to refrain from animal products, and do not condemn then, but support their point of view and their freedom to express themselves that way. But PETA, although teorically with a very good agenda and principles, has lost its way and does not follow a rigid, clear regiment as Greepeace does, for example. The "Penn and Teller Bulshit" episode about them is hilarious (although a bit biased, as they usually are on their political views). I'd refuse donating money for PETA, and hope that they, in the future, focus on their issue with a little bit of respect for other people and, yes, animals.
