The only thing more insulting than the statement itself is the fact that companies continue to try to use it to increase profits. Everyone knows it's bullshit when they hear it, the companies that say it know it's bullshit, and they know we know it's bullshit.
It's embarrassing for them, or at least it should be. But once again, it's profit margin first - integrity second.
In this day and age of home entertainment \ multi-media saturation - nothing is "for a limited time only".
